At UAB Europos IT, we (“Europosit”, “we”, “us”) respect your privacy and want you to understand what personal data we collect, and how we collect, use, and share data about you. This Privacy Policy covers our data collection practices and describes your rights to access, correct, or restrict our use of your personal data.
This Privacy Policy applies to your visit or use of the Europos IT website (‘the Site’), or other related services (the “Services”).
If you register an account on one of the sites or other services owned by UAB Europos IT, then an account is automatically created on all other sites, or other services owned by UAB Europos IT, and you confirm that you give your consent to this.
By using the Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. You shouldn’t use the Services if you don’t agree with this Privacy Policy or any other agreement that governs your use of the Services.
We collect certain data from you directly — the information that is associated with your use of the Site:
- Account data: such as your email address, password, your date of birth, bio you enter, and profile photos you upload.
- Information provided by social media companies: if you connect your social media accounts, the Site can authenticate your identity and access limited information about those accounts. The information that social media accounts provide to Europos IT may depend on the privacy settings you have with each platform.
- Automatically collected device data: Some data is collected automatically, such as information about your device, device type, operating system type and version, unique device identifiers, browser type and language, IP address and derived location, the date and time of the Site use, data on what parts of the Site you use and how you use them including frequency and duration.
The data listed above is collected through the use of server log files and tracking technologies, as detailed in the “Cookie Policy”. It is stored by us and associated with your account.
Participation in online meetings. Please note that we don’t record the audio in rooms at any time. We also never store any personal information about participants except for the points named above. Unregistered users cannot participate in rooms or events.
If you reside or are located in the European Economic Area, we keep your personal data for no longer than necessary for the purposes for which the personal data is processed. The length of time we retain personal data depends on the purposes for which we collect and use it and/or as required to comply with applicable laws and to establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights.
We only collect and store the data that Europos IT needs to function as a secure and feature-rich drop-in voice space.
Research and development. We may implement and use de-identified data for our business purposes, including to analyze the performance and effectiveness of the Site, to improve existing and add new features to the Site, and to analyze the general behavior and characteristics of users in the Site.
Support and Maintenance. We use third party analytics services to automatically log certain information about mobile devices and how users interact with the Site. The data we collect is used to troubleshoot and fix errors, perform data analysis, and add new features.
Marketing tools. We also use third-party advertising services, ad networks and ad servers to promote our Services and the Site.
For the ethical purposes of business, we can share personal information with:
Service providers: Companies and individuals that perform services for us or help us run and promote the Site (including but not limited to hosting, analytics, advertising, running promotions, and legal advice).
Government authorities: Europos IT may share your personal data with government authorities and law enforcement in response to court orders, court subpoenas, or other legal processes, to establish or exercise our legal rights or to protect our property, to defend against legal claims, or as otherwise required by law. In such cases, we reserve the right to raise or waive any legal objection or right available to us.
We also may share your personal data when we believe it is appropriate to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal or suspected illegal activities, to protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of Europos IT, the Site, our users, customers, or others; and in connection with our Terms of use and other agreements.
Business transferees: We may disclose and/or transfer your personal data to an acquirer, assignee, or other successor entity in connection with a sale, merger, or reorganization of all or substantially all of the equity, business, or assets of Europos IT to which your personal data relates.
Please be sure we never sell personal information or somehow use it in unethical or illegal activity.
We use appropriate security for data being stored. As with any internet-enabled system, there is always a chance of unauthorized access or fraud. This is why it is very important to protect your password and to contact us if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account. In this case, you should change your password and contact our support at support@europosit.com.
We may use personal data to provide technical support to you, where required, and to ensure the security of our services and the Site.
We consider the confidentiality and security of your information to be of the utmost importance. We will use industry standard physical, technical and administrative security measures to keep your personal data confidential and secure and will not share it with third parties, except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy, or unless such disclosure is necessary in special cases, such as a physical threat to you or others, as permitted by applicable law.
Because the Internet is not an absolutely secure environment we cannot guarantee the security of personal data, and there is some risk that an unauthorized third party may find a way to circumvent our security systems or that transmission of your information over the Internet will be intercepted. Also, we cannot control the actions of users on the Site, who may use third-party apps or devices to record, store, or share communication or content without prior consent from those users. Please keep that in mind when using the Services. It is your responsibility to protect the security of your login information. Please note that e-mail communications are typically not encrypted and should not be considered secure.
Deleting your account: You have certain rights around the use of your data including the right to delete your account at any time. In case you decide to delete your account, please contact us at support@europosit.com, Please note that in some cases we may need to verify that you have the authority to delete the account.
And of course, there will be residual information that will remain within our databases, access logs and other records, which may or may not contain your personal data. Please also note that certain personal data may be exempt from such requests in certain circumstances, which may include if we need to keep processing your personal data to comply with a legal obligation.
At any time, you can contact Europos IT with a request to delete your personal data, or partially delete it, in this case, your personal account will also be deleted. Processing your request may take up to 5 days and you’ll be notified about the actions taken to your account.
Connecting social media accounts Please note that you can connect your social media accounts to Europos IT. If you choose to disconnect your social media accounts, you may do that directly in the Site at any time.
Your Personally Identifiable Information may be transferred outside of the country where you reside or are located, including to countries that may not or do not provide the same level of protection for your Personally Identifiable Information. We are committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of Personally Identifiable Information when it is transferred. If you reside or are located within the EEA and such transfers occur, we take appropriate steps to provide the same level of protection for the processing carried out in any such countries as you would have within the EEA to the extent feasible under applicable law. We participate in and commit to adhering to the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework when transferring data from the EEA.
By visiting or using our Services, you consent to the storage of your data on servers located in the Federal Republic of Germany. If you use the Services you consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your data to other countries.
That data is also processed outside of Switzerland and the EEA by our service providers, including processing transactions, facilitating payments, and providing support services. We have entered into data processing agreements with our service providers that restrict and regulate their processing of your data on our behalf. By submitting your data or using our Services, you consent to this transfer, storage, and processing by Europos IT and its processors.
If you live in California, you have certain rights to request information. If you live in Australia, you have the right to make a formal complaint with the appropriate government agency. Users outside of the United States should note that we transfer data to the US and other areas outside of the European Economic Area.
Users in California
If you are a California resident, you have the right to request certain details about what personal data we share with third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes.
To submit your request, send an email to support@europosit.com or a letter to Didlaukio str. 17-3, Vilnius, Lithuania. When you request the information, use the phrase “California Shine the Light Request” to help us appropriately identify your question, and include your mailing address, state of residence, and email address.
Since the internet industry is still working on Do Not Track standards, solutions, and implementations, we do not currently recognize or respond to browser-initiated Do Not Track signals.
Users in Australia
If you are an Australian resident and you have a complaint, you may refer it to the office of the Australian Information Commissioner (“OAIC”). When we make a change to this policy, we will notify users via email, in-product notice, or another way required by law. Changes become effective the day they’re posted. An English version of the Privacy Policy is prevailing over all others available.
